164th Airlift Wing transports first civilian asset on Tennessee military aircraft.
After picking up the State of Tennessee Health Department Mobility Operations Center in Smyrna, Tenn . during a proof-of-concept flight, a Memphis C-17 Globemaster III with the MOC, sits on the ramp during the Vigilant Guard exercise August 5, 2021. Vigilant Guard was a part of a state-wide exercise performed from August 5-8, 2021 to prepare for real world situations in which different civilian and military entities work together to provide efficient relief wherever it may be needed. *Due to the need for clear and concise communication for safety, the aircrew and air terminal function do not wear masks.* (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Airman 1st Class TràVonna Hawkins)
