Airmen of Note perform 2011 Spring Tour

AIR FORCE DISTRICT OF WASHINGTON --  The U.S. Air Force Band's Airmen of Note will tour Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas March 14 - 31. The Note will perform at Michael Rose Theater at The University of Memphis in Memphis, Tenn. Thursday, March 24, 2011.
The Airmen of Note is the premier jazz ensemble of the United States Air Force. Created in 1950 to carry on the tradition of Major Glenn Miller's Army Air Corps dance band, today the "Note" features 18 of the most talented jazz musicians in the country and is one of the last touring big bands.
