U.S. Air Force firefighters, 164th Civil Engineering Squadron, perform essential upgrade training at the Memphis Air National Guard Base. U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Peter Kuykendall, a 164th Civil Engineering Squadron firefighter, said, "It is our mobile water supply and aircraft rescue firefighting training. This training is essentially important because it's our mission as the fire department to protect the base and the aircraft. This training ensures that our airmen have the necessary skills if we are unfortunately called upon to protect the base and the aircraft; we are ready to go at a moment's notice."
