Airmen from the 164th Airlift Wing and 12 other agencies participate in the Patriot South exercise at the Memphis Air National Guard Base in Memphis, Tenn. February 22, 2024. This joint exercise simulates bringing patients to Memphis for emergency services to triage and offer them care. "The ability for good joint operability and communication between the different agencies," Col. Peter Blatz, commander of the 164th Medical Group said. "COVID has taught us the importance of different federal and state organizations speaking the same languages.
